A Commerce graduate, she currently works as a Business Analyst in a managerial role, where she combines analytical thinking with leadership and responsibility. Beyond her professional work, she is deeply committed to giving back to society. As a Trustee in Gneyam, she focuses on advancing education with kindness and determination, guided by a strong belief that empowering individuals with knowledge can create lasting change and a more hopeful future.

A teacher by profession, she is a strong believer that knowledge gained through meaningful learning applies to new learning situations and this type of learning stays with students for life. Her passion for teaching led her to own a franchise for Jolly Phonics which nurtures all aspects of early literacy learning in young children. As a Trustee in Gneyam, she will be working with children from the underserved communities to enable them to articulate better.

Brinda is a social researcher with a Doctorate in Political Science and Sociology, specialising in the socio-cultural impacts of ecotourism. She has professional experience in academic research, publishing and non-profit organisations. As the founder of Gneyam, her vision is to bring together academic research and grassroots engagement, with an emphasis on social equity, community empowerment and practical impact.
